"I would like to thank Alex Kang from CE training, for writing my bench template that I followed for the 8 weeks of my training cycle in preparation for the 2010 IPF Sub-Junior World Bench Press Championships. Alex’s customized program was the most in-depth program I have ever trained with; from raw and board presses to working up to maximal days based off percentages. I loved the different variety in the program itself. With the help of Alex from CE training, I have achieved the ultimate goal of being a world champion."

Dan Weierich

“I owe Alex Kang from CE training much thanks to helping me achieve two USAPL RAW American Records. Alex’s strength cycle templates for squat and deadlift are aggressive and productive. His knowledge in the sport of powerlifting is extensive, helping me with physical training and all the little things such as purchasing gear, improving nutrition and understanding the science of optimal lifting. Alex Kang has helped me achieve a great performance at a high standard in the powerlifting community.”

Jeff Pham

"As a first-timer in this sport, Alex Kang has provided me with tremendous help ranging from analyzing and tweaking my technique to improve my leverages, nutrition, and physical and mental preparation come meet day. His knowledge and "in the trenches" experience speaks for himself and no stone was left unturned regarding any questions I had. I have to thank Alex Kang's programming and personal coaching for making my first powerlifting meet a success, and I look forward to working with him in the future."

Matt Rodock

"Easily my best meet to date, and I have a lot of people to thank. My wife. Alex (tigerak02) for handling me and doing a fantastic job, and Eriek Nickson (epowerlifting), Joe Lewis, and Josh for their additional help and inspiration during the competition. Also, my trainer partners (Jimmy, Ben, Rob, Josh, Aaron), and online training partners Alex (tigerak02) and Eriek (epowerlifting), and all the people who have come in to spot squats. Finally, my massage therapist (Gregory) who helped me recover from a couple of low back injuries last year. No way I would have had a weekend like this without all of you."

Alexander Spithas

"I'd like to thank Alex Kang for mentoring me and helping me prepare for my first powerlifting competition. Through his direction and patience, I was able to place second in the Push/Pull, 82.5kg weight category and hit PRs for both lifts. Alex exhibited an in-depth knowledge of powerlifting that I have not seen before and I look forward to working with him in the future."

Andrey Grebenetsky

"I was fortunate enough to have Alex Kang's mentoring and guidance during my performance at the 2013 USAPL Equinox Open. Alex's handling of all my attempts led to me winning my first ever best lifter trophy. His mentoring during my preparation for the event got me to the event properly peaked and injury free. I'd wholeheartedly work with Alex again and would recommend him to anyone looking to succeed in powerlifting."

James Shieder

"Before meeting Alex, I was a blue collar lifter with little aspirations to compete. After his persuasion, I chose to compete in the USAPL Maryland state open. Using a custom peaking program handwritten by Alex himself, I added 15 pounds to my squat, and 10 pounds to my Dead lift all in the course of just 8 weeks. The percentages were always on point, I never missed a weight the entire training cycle and every lift moved fast and felt light on meet day."

Matt Lorig

"I highly recommend hiring Alex to help you achieve your strength-training goals.

1. Results: Prior to working with Alex, I had been stuck lifting the same weight for years. After roughly one year of training Alex helped me improve my 5RM squat from 255 to 315 lbs; my other lifts improved similarly. I did this despite a travel schedule that had me on the road for nearly two weeks every month.

2. Personalization: Alex asked me what my goals were and designed a program to meet those goals. No cookie-cutter programs with Alex.

3. Feedback and adjustments: Alex had me film my workouts. He provided feedback on a workout-by-workout basis, and made adjustments to my program when necessary. These sorts of adjustments require a coach."

Denny Le

"Alex was an awesome coach. He handled everything for me. Couldn't have asked for better."

Bobby Shields

"Forgot to thank the most important person Alexander Kang for being a coach."

Elaine Wang

"I was on my own with regards to powerlifting before meeting Alex. Alex takes this sport incredibly seriously and is happy to help those who share this passion. Since he took me under his wing a few months ago, I've been educated and placed on a plan that produces hard results. My Wilks increased by 8.94 points in six months. I have no doubt in my mind going forward on Alex's plan will yield further success."

Tom Scibelli

"Hey Alex,

I just wanted to tell you thanks again for helping me with the program and then at the meet with the attempts. If you weren't there I think I definitely would have missed lifts! There was a moment I didn't think I was going to get that last squat up, so staying at that last attempt was perfect.

If you weren't there for the bench I probably would've stuck to 150 and probably wouldn't have got it, the pauses that day were longer than what I practiced lol. So that was an awesome call.

And thank you for help with deadlifts, I really didn't know how they would be since I wasn't able to complete some of the deadlift workouts on the program, but being able to pull 265 again on a stiffer bar, and I think it was faster than last time, let's me know I did get stronger and got my confidence back.

I did get first in my class, that was a first for me."

"I first contacted Alex Kang a little over 2.5 months ago. I had been a long time fan of his YouTube channel. I had no idea he offered online coaching, so I jumped at the opportunity when I realized it was an option.

Alex's coaching has helped me more than anyone or any resource I've come across. He responded to any questions I had for him very quickly and has brought my Sumo and squat along by leaps and bounds. When I first started working with him, my Sumo max was around 305lbs and my form was pretty bad. I was basically just wide stance deadlifting. After only 2 months I'm pulling 335lbs for multiple rep sets and my form and mobility have increased immensely. Alex has taught me about the importance of efficiency in powerlifting and I honestly feel that his coaching services are of the best value money can buy. Not to mention that his passion, commitment, and knowledge of the sport are a constant inspiration."
